Honesty Lunaria annua Lus na gealaí Family: Brassicaceae Flowering: April-June. Biennial. Introduced. Unscented purple flowers with 4-petals are followed by distinctive round, flat, silvery fruit. The heart-shaped basal leaves are long-stalked, toothed and hairy, the stem leaves stalkless and opposite. Erect growth, height to 1.5m. Flowers are occasionally white (Lunaria annua var. albiflora).
