Rape Brassica napus Ráib Family: Brassicaceae Flowering time: May-August. Annual or biennial. Introduced. Pale yellow flowers with 4 petals, the buds overtopping the flowers. Hairless green leaves, upper leaves clasping the stem. Leaves of new leaf rosettes are pale blue-green. Height to 1m. Can be seen on waste ground, roadsides, the edge of arable land and on other disturbed ground. Similar: Turnip, Brassica rapa. Flowers overtop buds. |
