Lesser Meadow-rue Thalictrum minus Rú léana beag Family: Ranunculaceae Flowering June-September. Perennial. Native. Clusters of purplish flowers with 12+ prominent stamens. Leaves are bi-pinnate and the leaflets are usually lobed or shallow-toothed. A variable, almost hairless plant with slender stems. Height 30-100cm Local distribution, mainly found in western Ireland on calcareous or neutral rocky or stony ground, dunes, lake edges, limestone pavements and mountain ledges.
