Procubent Yellow-sorrel Oxalis corniculata Seamsóg bhuí Family: Oxalidaceae Flowering: May-October. Perennial. Introduced. Small yellow flowers with 1-7 in each umbel are followed by hairy seed capsules. The alternate tri-foliate leaves are long-stalked. A creeping, more/less hairy plant, rooting at the stem nodes. A common greenhouse or garden weed, also found on wasteground, roadsides and in pavement cracks. Purple-leaved Yellow-sorrel, O. corniculata var. atropurpurea has yellow flowers and purplish-green leaves |
