Drooping white flowers with 3 styles and an oval inflated calyx, the cleft petals not overlapping. The grey-green leaves are oval and pointed, usually waxy and hairless but sometimes slightly hairy. Height 25-90cm

Found on open grassland and roadsides on sandy or chalky soil
