Wild Mignonette Reseda lutea Buí beag Family: Resedaceae Flowering time: May-September. Perennial / biennial. Probably introduced Spikes of unscented yellow-green flowers with 6 petals and sepals. The basal leaf rosette is once or twice pinnate and there are many stem leaves. Erect and/or sprawling ribbed stems. Height 30-70cm. Grows on well-drained soils on sandy waste ground, roadsides, dis-used quarries, limestone and on dunes. Mainly in eastern Ireland. Similar: Weld, Reseda luteola |
