Wall Speedwell Veronica arvensis Lus cré balla Family: Scrophulariaceae Flowering time: March-October. Annual. Native. Small deep blue flowers with white centres on short stalks (a deeper blue than other speedwells). Smaller flowers occur on early flowering plants. The downy leaves are oval-triangular and toothed, the upper leaves without stalks and narrower. An erect or prostrate plant with a more/less branched growth habit. Height 5-20cm Very common on dry ground, walls, dunes, waste ground, heaths and among open grassland |
