Flowering time: July-September. Annual.

Spikes of small greenish white flowers, less leafy than Common Orache.
Leaves broadly linear-lanceolate.
Upright, fleshy plant with square stems.
Height: 50-100cm

Habitat: Coastal on bare, disturbed ground, sometimes inland on salted
roadsides. S and E of Ireland. Occasional in Galway and Clare. Native.
