Flowering: June-August. Biennial or perennial. Native.

The flowers are usually pale yellow but white-flowered forms also occur. Fruit pods are strongly ribbed with 1-5 beaded joints, the fruits more than 5mm wide. The branched leafy stems bear bristly leaves that are pinnately lobed with a larger end-lobe, Height: 35-90cm

Coastal on beaches, dunes, cliffs and grassland, can be locally abundant
