Barren Strawberry Potentilla sterilis Sú talún bréige Family: Rosaceae Flowering time: March-June. Perennial. Native. White flowers with the sepals visible between widely separated petals. Sterile fruit is produced but does not ripen to red. Trifoliate greyish-green leaves, the leaflets oval, toothed and softly hairy. The stems can produce many non-rooting runners. Height 5-20cm.
