Flowering time: May - August. Perennial. Native.

Solitary long-stalked bright yellow flowers with 5 or 6 petals. Leaves are pinnate with numerous toothed large and small leaflets that are covered in silky white hairs, especially on undersides. Long slender creeping red stems and rooting runners. Height/spread: 10-40cm.

Abundant throughout Ireland on roadsides, hedgebanks, wasteland, grassy dunes and beside water.
