Ribwort Plantain Plantago lanceolata Slánus Family: Plantaginaceae Flowering time: April-October. Perennial. Native. The flower spike is usually sshorter than the furrowed stem, the flowers with pale yellowish-white anthers. Flower stems covered with silky hairs grow from a basal rosette of linear to oval-lanceolate leaves that are spreading to more/less erect. Height: Stems to 50 cm. Abundant on roadsides, gardens, grassland and waste ground. |
