Pampas-grass Dense, feathery plumes of white flowers on erect stems to 3m tall. Very sharp-edged leaves, 1-2m long. Persistent curled dead leaves at base. Forms dense tussocks. Can seed prolifically. Frequently planted in gardens. Occasional garden discard, also found self-sown in Co. Wexford. |
