Flowering June - August. Perennial. Native.

Very similar to Meadowsweet in appearance but smaller. The flowerheads are more flattened with larger creamy-white, pink-tinged flowers. Leaves with 8-20 pairs of deeply-pinnate, narrow leaflets. Height usually 10-50cm.

Native on rocky calcareous grasslands in the Burren, Co. Clare and in Co. Galway.
