Early Marsh-orchid: Flowering May - July. Tuberous perennial. Native.

Subsp. coccinea: Flowers deep reddish-pink, leaves recurved, unspotted.
Can be abundant in damp dune-slacks, machair grassland and calcareous fens.

Similar: D. incarnata subsp. incarnata and D. incarnata subsp. pulchella
