Flowering late spring to autumn. Perennial. Garden escape.

Pinkish-purple flowers, sometimes white. Nettle-like leaves with white-blotches. A clump-forming, rhizomatous plant.

Grown in gardens for groundcover and occasionally recorded as a garden escape or discard, usually near habitation, on waste ground and roadsides
