Coastal form of Woody Nightshade / Bittersweet

Flowering June-September. Perennial. Native.

Clusters of purple flowers followed by poisonous red berries.
Leaves similar to those of Woody Nightshade but often simple, entire and more or less succulent.

Coastal form found on shingle beaches.
