Cultivated form of Ground-ivy, G. hederaceae.

Flowers small, lilac-mauve, but rarely flowers, grown for ornamental foliage.
Kidney-shaped pale-green leaves, white markings on scalloped edges. Semi-evergreen or evergreen. Trailing stems, spreading to 2m. Fully hardy.

Grown in gardens in hanging baskets or as ground cover. Fertile, well-drained soils. Occasional garden escape or discard.
