Flowering April-August. Perennial. Introduced. Garden escape.

Many purple-blue flowers, like up-turned bells covering foliage. Ivy-like leaves,
shiny, bright-green, evergreen. Hairless. Self-seeds, also spreads vegetatively
from root fragments. Vigorous mat-forming growth. Spread to 50cm.

Open or slightly shaded well-drained alkaline soil. Mainly found on walls,
also pavements, waste ground.
