Flowering: March-June. Perennial. Introduced garden escape.

Pale purple, pink or blue-mauve flowers, 4-petalled. Rarely sets seed.
Leaves with few deep teeth, many sterile shoots. Mat-forming growth.

Infrequently recorded, usually near habitation. Walls, paths, wasteground.
