Flowers are greenish white, seedheads brown/red.
Large basal leaves, broad at base, slightly undulating edges.
Seed can remain viable in the ground for 70 years. Height: 50-100 cm

Habitat: Waste ground, road edges, fields.

Similar: Water Dock, R. hydrolapathum. To 200cm, pointed, oval-lanceolate leaves. Shallow water, riversides, fens, ditches.
