Flowering: June-October. Annual, occasionally perennial. Native.

Small pale-yellow flowers, petals equal or shorter than sepals. Sepals 1.6mm +. Fruit 2x long as stalk, oblong-ovoid, contracted into short style. Lower leaves pinnately-lobed, toothed lobes, hairless. Stem leaves unstalked. Stems more/less erect, often bronze coloured. Height: To 60cm.

Damp, bare ground, winter-flooded. Wetland sites, damp paths, tracks.
