Flowering: June-August. Perennial. Introduced. Garden escape.

Terminal spikes of pink-purple flowers. Shallow-lobed lower leaves, upper leaves deeply palmate or 3-7 lobed. Erect, slightly downy stems. Height: To 1.5m.

Grown in gardens, found as an occasional garden escape, discard or relic of cultivation. Open ground, urban waste land.
