Flowering time: June-September. Biennial. Introduced

Tall leafy flower spikes with many yellow flowers grow from the basal leaf rosettes. Basal rosettes can be over 50cm wide with evergreen, rough, pointed leaves. Height to 2.2m

A very occasional garden escape on rough wasteground and hedgebanks. Rarely recorded, most Irish records are from south-east Ireland
