Flowering time: March-April. Perennial. Native.

Yellow-rayed flowers appear before leaves.
Leaves long-stalked, toothed, round to triangular, white-felted below.
Spreads rapidly by means of scaly runners. Height: 10-30 cm.

Dunes, roadsides, gravel banks, wasteland.

Similar: Winter Heliotrope, Petasites fragrans. Similar leaves, lilac flowers.
