Leaves pinnate with numerous toothed large and small leaflets. Covered in silky white hairs, especially undersides. Long slender red stems, creeping. Rooting runners. Height/spread: 10-40cm.

Abundant. Roadsides, hedgebanks, wasteland, grassy dunes, watersides.
